WeeWork: Is your battery powered by child slavery?

Have you ever murdered a child? If you’ve ever used a smartphone or EV the answer is probably yes.

Hope you enjoy your smart phone and eco-friendly ride, you fucking child murderer.

75% of the world’s cobalt for lithium ion batteries are mined in the western congo, where nearly every mine is staffed by child labor. Nearly all of your lithium powered devices: EVs, phones, tablets had some element of slave labor mining the rare earth minerals dubbed conflict minerals.

That makes you by proxy a child slave owner yourself, you must self flaglulate to atone for your sins.

Big tech companies like Apple and Tesla have refuted the claims: “Shouldn’t kids get part time jobs anyway, what’s the big deal?”

Children and teens mining dangerous toxic chemicals for a dollar or two a day in flip flops is a bit different than picking up a part time job after school.

Apple: “Sure it’s bad, but look we have a child slave labor free certificate.”

Despite claims of most big companies say that they source ethically nearly all of that has been disproven. Tesla claims to purchase from the mines themselves and does not source from Western Congo, at least not any more. Depending on the year of your model you may be running your fancy EV on the blood of children.

It’s easy to turn a blind eye to global suffering, we certainly never hear about Africa on the news. Americans have developed a supernatural power to be self obsessed blind to the problems of the world, focusing on “insurrections” and “communism.”

While the US made a half assed commitment to climate change mandate of carbon neutrality due in part to the endless narrative of the apocalypse is nigh. We’ve made a commitment to renewables without an actual plan to do so, much like our recycling programs they are dubious if not self delusional.

After “An Inconvenient Truth” we slowly began to pull our heads out of our asses after decades of heavy pollution. We collectively frowned upon dead dino grease and embraced to the loving power of the sun. No longer are we going to be dependent on Saudi and or former Soviet Oil Barrons tripling the price of gasoline in a calendar year. Gas is bad for Mother Earth.

Much like Germany closing it’s nuclear power plants increasing it’s dependance on Russian fossil fuels the US turned it’s back on energy independence in the name of climate change, helping increase the price of gas over 250% post pandemic.

Solar panels and their requisite giant batteries were the new sacred cow to be worshipped, fossil fuels and nuclear be damned. While there was occasionally a report or two about conflict minerals: the requisite cobalt needed for each high capacity LiON battery powering your phone.

Certain companies like Tesla have made attempts to source their products from more ethical mines but the majority still run their beautiful electric devices on child blood. https://electrek.co/2022/05/06/tesla-list-battery-material-suppliers-long-term-nickel-deal-vale/
